The Evetech Champions League, better known as the ECL, is a multi-seasoned event showcasing some the best CS:GO talent South Africa has to offer, proudly brought to you by Evetech and Lenovo. Join the Legion today and stand a chance to win a piece of the R50,000 prize pool per season. With four seasons on the way, there is plenty of chance to get involved and start your esports career on the right foot! Registrations open on 10 June and will stay open until midday on 17 June. From there, all teams will enter into a small qualifier, due to take place between 18-24 June, in order to establish the 16 teams that will take part in the first season of the ECL. Official play with kick off on 5 July, where the 16 teams will be split into two groups of eight. From there they will play a best-of-one, round- robin group stage in order to determine the group winners and runners-up. The top two teams from each group will advance through to the final stage of the season, which has the top 4 teams from the group stage fight it out for a piece of that R50,000 prize pool in a double-elimination bracket. The finals weekend is set for 24-26 August.
